Brett Ratner’s English version of Kites, The Remix is releasing on Sunday in US

Kites Movie Release In Us: The whole country and the diehard fans of the Greek God Hrithik Roshan are waiting for the release of Kites with baited breath. But now, it has been revealed that the west will see the Kites before India.
Brett Ratner’s English version of Kites, which is named Kites: The Remix is releasing today (Sunday) in US, whereas the English people in UK will be able to see the movie on May 18.

But the ‘god’ insists that there is now such ‘English version’, rather he says that Kites is a Hindi movie which is releasing worldwide. The only difference is its editing and looks. The X-Men fame Brett Ratner did some changes with the movie so that it can suit the overseas audience, and that version is releasing today in US. Although he adds that Kites: The Remix will not release in India.

“It’s the Hindi film that will be screened all over the world. Brett has only come up with a remix. He fell in love with our film, Barbara and men and came up with his own take on it. He’ll be presenting his cut to his audience and that’s going to be an added bonus for us,” said the super star.

When the reporters asked him about its climax being leaked by a newspaper, he seemed rather calm and he said that media should learn to respect the ethical boundary.

“Every film has its own destiny,” he shrugs. “Our biggest challenge is to erase all pre-conceived notions and draw the audience into a world where you enjoy every moment. These external factors don’t matter. I just hope that the media realizes that there are certain ethical boundaries that they should never transcend.” He said.

Also, he dismissed all the reports of shifting his base to Hollywood. It is true, that Ratner’s English version of Kites will introduce him to the west, but he seems happy with Bollywood.

“Any good film is a stepping stone to newer avenues,” he points out. “If Bret offers me a film, I’d love to do it. But before I sign on, I have to see if I the subject works for me.” He said.
