But, protocol warrants me to remind you that that the chunk portion of filming of ‘Raavan’ was shot in the hilly forests of South India.
And, love birds Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan couldn’t keep their eyes off each other and had a silent eye-to-eye romance that couldn’t be seen but could, definitely, be felt. In fact, Aishwarya has voiced her pleasure that her hubby was there for her in such a rough terrain miles away from the glitzy world of urbane civilization.
She confesses, “The natural attention that we can give each other on such a film is great. We were there for each other. At the end of the day we had each other and that was definitely wonderful on such a tough and physically demanding film.”
She also lays stress on the fact that Mani Ratnam’s characters and script take a great toll on the actors coz of their intensity. And overcoming the physical and mental challenge posed by the terrain and the character became a tad easy with her husband at tail.
Certainly, their subtle, silent jungle romance seems to have popped out straight from the pages of a fairy tale………
