Hrithik Roshan: Taking marketing Tips from Shahrukh and Aamir!

Bollywood Hot SuperStar Hrithik Roshan, who’s busy promoting his forthcoming flick ‘Kites’ these days, revealed in a press meet that his marketing knowledge is next to nil and would like to learn the marketing techniques from his seniors Aamir Khan and SRK.
"I don't know about the strategy and the marketing side of films. I'm still young in that space and still need to learn from my seniors and people who have inspired me like Shah Rukh and Aamir,” said Hrithik.

He also added that he’s an actor first and film marketing is one area that he has not perfected yet.

“I don't know much about it and I don't have that talent. I'm an actor and I'm learning," said the talented actor.

The film ‘Kites’, produced by filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, will be made in Hindi and English and is scheduled to be released worldwide on May 21. It is a love story of an Indian dance teacher and a Latin woman, who fall in love despite the language barrier.

’Kites’ not influence by commercial thinking
Hrithik Roshan also revealed that his father and director Anurag Basu made sure that ‘Kites’ was not made like any other commercial Bollywood film and tried to make it look as close to reality as possible.

“We do not want to be within our comfort zone influenced by manipulative commercial thinking,” said Hrithik.

Hrithik added that, “Nothing in the film — no dialogues or no moments that try to provoke claps, tears or laughter. It’s a very simple straightforward love story, something that would happen in real life and following that thread whatever fell into place has made the film what it is.”

’Kites’ in payment row before release?
Just before the release of much-hyped film ‘Kites’ Roshans have landed in a payment row with Shah Productions responsible for supplying equipments for the film’s sets.

Reportedly, a case has been filed against Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik Roshan for not making the remaining payment of Rs 10 crore.

According to Shah Productions lawyer, Manoj Sheoran, "While Rs 20 crore has been paid, Filmkraft has been deferring payment of the balance of Rs 10 crore for the last two years.”
