Aamir Khan News: After all that talk of Shahrukh Khan being in contention for the lead role in Oscar winning director Danny Boyle’s next film Bombay Velvet, the picture is now getting clearer. For it’s not Shahrukh but Aamir Khan who is being considered to play the protagonist in the movie.
Anurag Kashyap, who has been racking his brain for many months to pen a gripping script, says he feels Aamir has the “intensity and depth” to do justice to the lead role. Danny Boyle shares the same opinion.
“We both feel Aamir is the best guy,” Anurag is quoted as saying.
Kashyap also rules out that Shahrukh is at all being considered for the movie. He will narrate the script to Aamir in the coming weeks. He is also hopeful that Aamir will give his nod to the project.
