India's top model Monikangana Dutta to wait Victoria’s Secret campaign: The Guzaarish starlet and India’s top ramp model Monikangana Dutta was about to add another feather to her cap by being the Victoria’s Secret first Indian angel. Alas, the lassie has to wait as she can’t fly abroad because of her visa.

Moni has to shoot for the brand’s 2011 campaign next month, but as per reports she is grounded in India for an O-1 visa and might have to wait till April.

The model-turned-actress made news last year when she was chosen as an ambassador to represent Victoria’s Secret and join the league of supermodels like Giselle Bundchen, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio.

As for now, she is hoping to get this visa problem sorted out soon. We are also waiting with bated breath to catch India’s first - oh! also Asia’s first - Victoria’s Secret angel.

India's Top ramp models Monikangana Dutta as Victoria’s Secret Angel?: One of India’s top ramp models Monikangana Dutta who has created waves with her oriental charm on several fashion weeks in India and abroad, is said to have been selected as a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Looking beautiful like never before Monikangana started her modeling career in Paris and has appeared in top fashions magazines like Elle and Vogue, and now as per reports she will join Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr as one of six Victoria’s Secret Angels making her the first Indian to become and Angel of the high-profile lingerie brand.

Monikangana who is from Guwahati will be seen making her Bollywood debut in the upcoming movie Guzaarish alongside Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai.

However, the girl was in hiding. We guess Sanjay wanted to keep her as a surprise. But the new song Tera Zikr from the film which has started doing the rounds has Moni with Hrithik. The model plays Hrithik’s love interest in the movie and in this song is shown as his assistant who helps him do the magic tricks on stage.
