Minissha Lamba’s name involed in a multi-crore property scam!: It was just a few days back when I-T (Income Tax department) came out with a shocking revelation of Priyanka Chopra’s many flats in Mumbai. Now actress Minissha Lamba’s name is involved in a multi-crore property scam.

While talking to a tabloid, Minissha clearly states that her name is used to cheat people. The names of Minissha and Hollywood actress Tara Reid were part of the promotion campaign for the housing project by Santorini Development in Dubai. It even claimed that Minissha has bought the house in the project.

“I have no clue how something like this has happened. Forget about buying property in Dubai, I have not even entertained the notion yet,” Minissha is quoted as saying by the tabloid. She feels sorry for the people who have been tricked to invest their hard-earned money in this fake housing project.

The four who are accused in this Rs 11.5 crore scam are locked behind bars for three years.

Minissha herself is quite excited about working with Shirish Kunder whom she admits to admire as a film-maker.

However, with things not working out between the crew and Anushka, the next best option was Minnisha.

With names like Arjun, Minnisha Lamba and Mallika Sherawat to boast of and a million dollar budget set aside for the film, ‘Contract’ sure sounds like a superhit in the making.

As per reports, Minissha attended a court hearing at an Andheri court on Wednesday afternoon. She has a pending case against a man named Meraj Rehman who is charged for sending obscene messages to her in November last year. Meraj has also sent vulgar smses to Sambhavna Seth and Maanyata Dutt in the past.

According to a source, there was no way she could have missed the hearing this time. “Her lawyer informed her that if she missed it, there would be an arrest warrant issued on her name,” tells the source.

Although the 25-year-old star, who has previously been linked to actors Aftab Shivdasani and Abhay Deol, insists she isn't ready to mingle soon, she did not hesitate to share what qualities she is looking for in her guy.

"I want a self-made man. Someone who is confident but quiet about it and doesn't run after girls, " said Minissha, who was present in Gurgaon to launch Levo Spalon (Spa cum Salon) in Ibis Hotel told reporters here.

However, when it comes to being emotional, the actress prefers to be a little detached as she feels it helps people to deal with the difficulties in life more strongly.

"There are lots of things in life that bog us down and distract us from the real issues and I feel that emotional attachment is something that gets you worked up unnecessarily. It becomes much easier when you stay a little detached and deal with things strongly, " Minissha, who wore a stunning red dress designed by Rocky S., told.

Meanwhile, after playing a village girl in Shyam Benegal's "Well Done Abba", Minissha will now be seen doing some comedy in Sagar Ballary's (of "Bheja Fry" fame) new film "Hum Tum Aur Shabana".

"I am really enjoying doing comedy. It is a genre that I have never explored before. I am bit scared for it and hope that I get my comic timing right, " she said.

The film also stars Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade.
