Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan next together in 'Stand By Me': Written by Shakun Batra, Ayesha DeVitre and directed by Shakun Batra, Stand By Me stars Kareena Kapoor, Imran Khan, Randhir Kapoor, Boman Irani and Ram Kapoor. The Hindi comedy has started shooting in Nevada, USA and judging by Bebo's facial expression the cast and crew are either working early mornings or late nights! Ah the glamorous life of the stars!

Rumors were circulating that Kareena demanded an extraordinary amount of money to shoot the flick but the actress soon debunked those rumors as she told reporters, "Karan [Johar] is family, we don't discuss money or even scripts. He tells me when to start shooting and pays me what I deserve. I certainly hope he gives me this much."

As for the type of clothes Bebo will be sporting in the movie, she makes it clear that the designated designer, Manish Malhotra, will not be giving her any short shorts! "Shorts have been done to death in the movies. And my fans didn't like the Tashan look. So I'll be wearing lots of clothes with Jab We Met kind of a vibe."

So fans will not be able to swoon over Kareena's size zero body in the film that was previously titled Short Term Shaadi. Although the actress has had enough of all the talk about her weight as she says, "This size zero nonsense has been going on for too long. I'm grateful to Shahrukh Khan for taking the mantle away for me. Ever since he got into those body suits for Ra.One, people have been discussing his weight loss rather than mine."

The buzz was that Stand By Me is an adaptation of the Hollywood film What Happens in Vegas starring Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher, but producer Karan Johar explains that that is not the case, "The movie is not an adaptation. It is an original story written by the writer of the film and Shakun is the director of the film with Imraan and Kareena in it. It is not an adaptation of What happens in Vegas.
