Vivaan Shah replaces Saif Ali in bhardwaj's 'Dreams'

Vivaan Shah replaces Saif Ali in bhardwaj's 'Dreams': Vivaan Shah, son of Naseeruddin Shah, has replaced Saif Ali Khan in Vishal Bhardwaj's Dreams. The film additionally headlines Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone.

Vivaan earlier worked with Bhardwaj in Saat Khoon Maaf, his debut film, and has a three film deal with the director.

Saat Khoon Maaf headlines Priyanka Chopra and features an ensemble cast that includes Naseeruddin Shah, Neil Nitin Mukesh, John Abraham, Irrfan Khan and Konkona Sen Sharma, besides others.

Vivaan has a meaty role in the film that releases on January 21, and his performance in it reportedly impressed Bhardwaj.

Dreams is a love triangle between two girls and a man. Saif Ali Khan is reported to have walked out of the film after Bhardwaj declined to direct a film for Saif's Illumanti in a quid-pro-quo deal sought by Saif.

Filming will begin in early 2011.
