Sanjay Dutt's acting career going downward!: Since the last few years, The Bollywood Dashing Actor Sanjay Dutt’s acting career has been only going one way - downward.
So, Knock Out has been knocked out from the marquee in its initial run at the box office. This comes even as Sanjay Dutt’s good friend Bunty Walia, who produced Lamhaa, is still reeling from the super debacle of the film a few months back.
One after another, the films starring Sanjay Dutt have been going down like ninepins at theatres. Just go through the last dozen films in Dutt’s filmography and you will find just one hit in it; the rest eleven have been flops. Ever since Dutt’s career got a new lease of life after his release on bail from the prison in 2007, his career has been on a downslide.
His films that have flopped - Dus Kahaniyan, Woodstock Villa, Mehbooba, Kidnap, EMI, Luck, Aladin, Blue, ‘Lamhaa’ and ‘Knock Out’. Only All The Best did well last year.
Seeing this dismal trend, the filmmakers are wary of investing in films starring Dutt. For instance, Dutt’s film Chatur Singh Two Star has reportedly been stalled. Similarly, Apoorva Lakhia’s Mumbai Taxi Service starring Dutt has been shelved.
Now, Dutt has attached his hopes to Raju Hirani’s Munnabhai Chale Amerika, Indra Kumar’s Double Dhamaal and David Dhawan’s comedy film Rascal to turn his fortune around.
We wish him all the best.
