Bollywood3000 News: Badmaash Company: If you have been salivating of late due to a yellow bikini doing the Television rounds, then chances are you have been hooked on to a deliciously sexy Anushka Sharma, one of the protagonists of ‘Badmaash Company’.
The cop n con thriller that also marks the debut film of Indian Idol contestant Meiyang Chang promises to be a roller coaster ride. The lead male Shahid Kapoor throws some tid bits at us to chew on till the full meal releases on 7th May.
1. Shahid says that his Badmaash Company character is not as ‘Kamina’ as Kaminey’s Charlie. Rather he is a normal middle class guy until he gets lured by scams and schemes.
2. Also, Charlie was spontaneous and edgy, whereas this character is a schemer and hatches his plans after careful foresight and deliberate thinking.
3. On a personal front, Shahid admits that he loves playing bad guys as that brings out his childhood boy within him. “I think I always wanted to be a good boy, but I think inherently I have a ‘badmaash’ (naughty) streak in me. That’s why I love doing this role. This is my escape route. What I couldn’t do in my childhood, (I’m) doing it in films,” Shahid quips.
4. The con schemes and plots shown in the film are based on real life situations and all the incidents are picked out from the daily newspapers. That’s why Shahid feels it’s extremely believable and a true reflection of our present day society.
5. Shahid also believes that the script of the film was very refreshing and he hails his ‘Badmaash Company’ as an original flick. Comparing it with Abhishek Bachchan & Rani Mukherjee’s ‘Bunty aur Babli’, Shahid gushes, “These types of film are made less in India. I think films like ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ were not really con films…it was more of a fun movie. This one is more believable. The con jobs that have been shown in the film I haven’t seen in any Hindi or English film. It’s more original.”
Do you have any tid bit to share with others……..?
