Bollywood actors Jackie Shroff, Jimmy Shergill, Neha Dhupia, Kim Sharma and Sunita Krishnamurthy were amongst the throngs of tens of thousands of guests at a mass wedding ceremony in Kalaghatagi, organised by mine owner Santosh Lad. Over 600 couples were wed at the ceremony in what was billed as the largest mass wedding in Karnataka‘s history.
Neha Dhupia, meanwhile, might be chasing bigger fish. She can be seen in the comedy film With Love to Obama which takes an off-the-wall look at how the world recession is affecting profits in the underworld.
"My film With Love To Obama is a mad-cap comedy that projects a different take on recession,” explains the director, “While we all know how recession impacts on the corporate world, the job market and the business world, my film talks about the impact of recession on the underworld. While most stories around recession are generally sad stories, mine is a funny and humorous take on the impact of recession on the bhais of the underworld.”
And Kim Sharma is also too busy for marriage at the moment. The aspiring actress can be seen in this week’s big southern release Yaagam, a revenge movie with Navdeep and has also been seen around town with her new Spanish partner Carlos Marin. She will be seen with Navdeep again in her next movie, Sinam.
