Shahrukh a Pakistani agent: VHP

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) General Secretary Praveen Togadia today accused Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan of being an ''agent of the Pakistani jehadis.''
He vented his ire against Mr Khan for speaking in favour of Pakistani cricketers who were not selected in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction.
Mr Togadia was addressing a press conference here.

He, however, made it clear that both Mumbai and Maharashtra were for all Indians and every Indian citizen has the right to live anywhere in the country.

Speaking on the situation in Assam, he said the ''Bangladeshi jehadi elements had turned the whole of Assam into another Jammu and Kashmir'', and for that he blamed the Congress for entertaining vote bank politics.

He advocated for updation of the National Registrar for Citizens (NRC) from 1951. The Assam Government, along with the Centre, in consultation with the All Assam Students Union (AASU), had decided to work with 1966 as the base year for the NRC.
