Shahrukh Khan to Shiv Sena – don’t teach me patriotism!

In yet another blow to Shiv Sena after the Sainiks burnt effigies of the superstar, Shahrukh shows his distress as he finds Shiv Sena pointing fingers at his patriotism!
NDTV, IBN Live, etc report that Shahrukh Khan is evidently hurt at the comments made by Shiv Sena leaders which raise questions on his patriotism. Shahrukh’s pains are clearly visible as he says that in spite of being an Indian, he is scared to invite people from other countries to participate in a sports event.
SRK says that he knows patriotism well and his father has taught him nationality who was himself a freedom fighter. He says satirically that now he feels whatever his father had taught him and whatever he has been teaching his kids, are all wrong and must be modified!

He adds that he won’t surrender to the threats from Shiv Sena and will never ever say sorry for something which is not wrong. However, he has apologized to Karan Johar, Kajol and the rest of the cast and crew of “My Name Is Khan” for putting them in trouble by his statements.

Shahrukh’s upcoming film, the much anticipated “My Name Is Khan” is all set to release on 12th February 2010 but runs a high risk in Mumbai theatres where it might be hold back. BlameShiv Sena for that!

MNIK is here to open and the excitement is not at all felt by SRK who is sad and tired at the whole Shiv Sena issue! We too feel the pain and stand by the superstar at his tough times…
