Shah Rukh Khan ropes in Aishwarya for RA 1, Abhi no problem!!

Shah Rukh Khan, the King of bollywood who plays the character of a superhero in Anubhav Sinha’s upcoming ‘Ra 1’ opposite sizzling hot sexy bombshell Kareena Kapoor, has successfully roped in another gorgeous beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the film.

Sources say that Aishwarya Rai’s role is that of a cameo wherein she will be playing herself, a big bollywood star, and a big fan of hers would get a chance to meet the beautiful lady. Though the scene is small but it becomes significant in the light of Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan not working with each other after Salman Khan had created disturbance on the sets of SRK’s ‘Chalte Chalte’, and the subsequent replacement of Aishwarya by Rani Mukherji in the film.

Sources close to Shah Rukh Khan say that it all happened at the birthday bash of Hrithik Roshan, where Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai were present with their respective spouses—Gauri Khan and Abhishek Bachchan- and mingled freely.

The buzz doing the rounds in the industry is that it was Shah Rukh Khan who took the initiative and asked Aishwarya Rai to play the cameo in his upcoming home production ‘Ra 1’. Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai’s husband, who was standing nearby, also showed his agreement to the proposal and encouraged the beautiful lady to go for it.

In fact, Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan were engrossed in deep conversation with each other forgetting the bitterness of the past. Abhishek Bachchan was also spotted dancing with Shah Rukh Khan’s better half, Gauri Khan, on the occasion, signaling that everything was now normal between the warring Bachchans and King Khan.It may be recalled that Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai had created magic on the celluloid in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s super duper hit flick ‘Devdas’, but never worked together again due to several contentious issues.

After marriage of Aishwarya Rai with Abhishek Bachchan, the rift between Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya further widened due to non-invitation of SRK to wedding. In fact, Shah Rukh Khan had made some caustic remarks about Bachchans’ family friend Amar Singh and so he ensured that King Khan was not invited to the function.

However, presence of Shah Rukh Khan at Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Paa’ premiere showed the easing of cold war between the two icons of bollywood. And now Aishwarya Rai, agreeing to play a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer flick ‘Ra 1’, seems to be the culmination of that process.
